simple-bar is split into four main modules that can be tuned independently.

See every one of your spaces and the apps running inside each of them. The currently focused space is highlighted, and you can jump to any space directly with one click.
With SIP disabled you can create, move and destroyworkspaces directly from the bar.

Stay updated with practical widgets: browser song, Spotify track and playback state, weather, battery level, microphone and sound, wifi, date and time, and keyboard input language.
Some widgets are interactive, including Spotify play and pause, microphone mute and unmute, and wifi toggle.

Customize layout and enable or disable individual global information widgets to match your workflow.
Open an empty workspace, click the current process widget, then presscmd + , to open settings.

Before installing simple-bar, you'll need to meet some prerequisites.
simple-bar has been tested on Intel and Apple Silicon Macs, and works on Catalina and above. For the best behavior, keep macOS updated to the latest stable release.
A 13" screen is recommended with display scaling set to "More Space". Smaller displays still work, but you may need to disable some widgets.
Install and keep updated yabai, AeroSpace and Übersicht. simple-bar supports yabai and AeroSpace from v3 to v6, and v6 is required since macOS Sonoma.
Install simple-bar in two quick steps.
Clone simple-bar into your Übersicht widgets directory.
git clone https://github.com/Jean-Tinland/simple-bar $HOME/Library/Application\ Support/Übersicht/widgets/simple-barIf Übersicht is already running, the bar should appear immediately.
Open an empty workspace, click the current process widget, then press cmd + , to open settings and personalize your layout.
